Mercury begins to climb after 60 hours below zero with a -43 low at the airport, an 11 year low. The Weather Bureau forecasts Mostly cloudy with snow flurries and a high of 20 today and a low of 0 tonight as relief appears.
A federal grand jury in Dayton Ohio indicted 13 major electronics companies for price fixing on $21 48 million worth of electronic parts sold to Gentile Air Force depot and commercial users. The case cites Sherman Antitrust Act violations and includes three corporations in the 1960 indictment.

In Wolf Creek a coroner's jury found no evidence of arson in the fatal blaze at a Beartooth ranch lodge that killed Vivian Milton and her 4 year old daughter Julie. Fire marshal’s deputy read the inquest record noting the fire appeared accidental and started inside the two year old $90 000 home. Only a few bones a tooth and a diamond wrist item remained after the blaze.
All directors of the First National Bank were reelected at the annual stockholders meeting on Tuesday. The directors are Irving H. Bolitho, Helen S. Davis, Howard A. Johnson, Ruth Davis Kroger and Elmer H. Mester. After the stockholders meeting, the directors met to appoint officers for the bank.
