Alfred Stearns, 55, of Ennis, was hurled through a car windshield when the vehicle failed to navigate a curve between Silver Star and Iron Rod. He suffered a throat wound from ear to ear, treated at St James hospital with 12 stitches, and his companions John Houts and Jim Boylan rushed him to care.

Harold Gibbs 19 Dies After Truck Accident
