Shipbuilders killed in scalding blast at shipyard
Officials said at least 15 workmen were injured by a blast and scalding steam aboard a ship under construction. Twelve victims died at the scene and three more died later as 900 degree steam burned bodies, with many casualties among dock workers awaiting a January 17 sea trial. Ford to announce housing and job plans in State of the Union
