Montana Pioneer Mrs Camp Dies After Illness in Basin
Minnie Camp of Basin Montana died Friday night in Deer Lodge Hospital after a several year illness. widow of George T Camp who died in Butte 18 years ago. They ran the Camp Cafe in Basin for 35 years. Born in Manchester England, she lived in New York Denver before Butte. Last rites Monday 2 pm at White's Funeral Home. Burial in B Nai Israel Cemetery. Survived by sister Eva Netzner and nephews and nieces in Butte and Estelle Levy of Brady Texas.

Francis Leo Skerjane, 50, was found dead at 2003 Banks and was honored in a Saturday funeral at St. Ann Church with a requiem mass. Special car ferried flowers to Holy Cross Cemetery. graveside rites were led by Rev. Frank L. Harrington. Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers listed.

The Rev Clarence Spellman led funeral services for Arthur Abrahamsen at White's Funeral Home with graveside rites at Mountain View Cemetery. Pallbearers were Homer Earhart Hiram Pitts Jake Hoffman George Sunday William Harrington and Albert Stubblefield. George Bawden sang The Lord's Prayer Abide With Me and No Night There with William Johns on piano. A special auto was needed for flowers.

Four new directors will be elected and the 1955 charter presented at the Montana Division of the American Cancer Society annual meeting in the Finlen Hotel Silver Bow Room January 26. Dr Harold W Gregg, president, announced the meeting opens at 9 a.m. with training for volunteer leaders in Montana's 86 county units preceding the business session.
