Charles Winslow Pioneer Leader Dies in Whitehall
Charles W. Winslow 174 a pioneer resident of Montana died this afternoon after a long illness. Born February 22 1867 at the family ranch on Pish Creek he helped develop Jefferson valley and later Whitehall’s hardware mercantile business. He married Ida Fields in 1897 and survived by two sons and three daughters. His death mourned across western Montana and Whitehall community circles.
