Scotch whisky credited with saving five crash survivors
Orville Rosengren and his wife son and three others survived a plane crash on Mt Sherman in the Central Rockies. Stranded for a day in 30 below zero winds of 80 mph they drank two bottles of Scotch which Rosengren credits with keeping them alive. A Civil Air Patrol plane spotted the wreck and a helicopter rescued all five.
