Reverend Peterson and wife die in Illinois crash near Clarkdale
A Methodist minister Rev. Arthur Ralph Peterson 29 and his wife Mary Lou Burgess Peterson 28 from Butte were killed in a three car collision near Clarkdale Illinois. Donald Lee Carrouthers 23 of Elkville Illinois also died. Third car passenger Charles W. Bossle 29 of Du Quoin Illinois sustained critical injuries. The couple had married August 23 1959 and lived in Havre about a year. Funeral arrangements will be handled by White's Funeral Home in Butte.
