The body of 17 year old Marina Habe, daughter of Eloise Hardt and Hans Habe, was found in a Mulholland Drive ravine. Police investigate possible kidnapping as cause of death remains undetermined. Warm Montana Day Then Arctic Front Drops Temperatures
Montana saw a warm spell with 40s and 50s in some areas before an arctic front pushed south. Great Falls fell from 36 to 13 as the front moved in, while Havre and Cut Bank again reported subzero readings. Snow fell mainly in the west and a broad cold wave lingered across the northern U.S. through New Year’s Day.
