Savage, a former Butte man and Miles City native, has worked with South American and European industrial firms. They left Spain November 21 via Germany where they spent time. Savage led Las Palmas Canary Islands Electric Gas and Tramway firms and noted Franco began the revolution on July 18 1936. He observed Spain’s wartime chaos and its impact on daily life.
