Man and babe die in gift laden auto in Colorado snow
In Leadville Colorado a man George W Barnes 35 and his two year old daughter Catherine Kavanaugh died from carbon monoxide inside a stalled car loaded with Christmas gifts. Mrs Miriam Kavanaugh 20 was found unconscious and rushed to hospital but not expected to recover. The victims were en route to Grand Junction to visit Barnes' relatives when the car became encased in a snowdrift four miles north of Leadville.
