Powell County High School Announces Two-Week Christmas Break

In Dear Lodge on December 19, officials announced Powell County High School will extend its Christmas vacation for five weeks. Faculty and students will be off starting Friday December 21 with classes resuming Monday January 6, 1938. The public schools will close at one o'clock Friday evening and reopen Monday morning December 21.
