Anaconda considers urban wildlife task force
Anaconda Deer Lodge County commissioners held a first reading on creating a task force to study urban wildlife after a mule deer with chronic wasting disease was found in a nearby hunting district. Commission Chair Kevin Hart, a lifelong resident, commented on the issue as dusk traffic narrowly avoided two crossing mule deer on Commercial Street.
