Bretz sentenced to 56 years for grand larceny in Great Falls
Lavon Bretz, carried in on a stretcher, drew a 56 year prison term after a jury found him guilty on 14 counts of grand larceny for stealing from clients in workers compensation cases. Judge A B Martin suspended 30 years for restitution of more than 42000 to victims and possible parole after five years two months of the remaining 26 year sentence. Bretz’s attorney plans an appeal as Bretz remained motionless on the stretcher during the sentencing.
