Congress clash over Yugoslav wheat sale raises probe

Rep. Paul Findley charged the State Department is pressing a $20 million sale of U.S. wheat to Yugoslavia despite a funding ban. He cites amendments to hunger assistance bills intended to block shipments to nations trading with North Vietnam, effective Jan. 1, and says the prohibition has been in force for months. Findley planned to meet Undersecretary Nicholas Katzenbach to present his view.
