Billings Farmer Killed In Highway Collision West Of City
A Billings farmer, Arthur Jones Monk, 58, died Monday morning when his car collided with a truck-trailer on snow packed U S Highway 10 about two and a half miles west of Billings. His wife Marie, 56, was hospitalized in fair condition with a broken leg fractured ribs and facial cuts. The truck driver Clarence W Bittner 24 and passenger George William Grubbs Royal Neb were uninjured. The crash raised Montana 1958 traffic deaths to 184, seven fewer than a year ago.
