The Rev. Brendan Shea O S B of Butte was ordained a priest on the Feast of the Immaculate Conception in Mount Angel Oregon by Archbishop Edward D Howard. He will celebrate his first solemn high mass at St Mary Church in Butte at 11 a m Sunday December 23. Born February 5 1916 in Butte he is the son of John and Nellie Shea and has siblings in Butte. He studied at St Mary Parochial School and Boys Central High School before attending Carroll College Helena.
