Butte Vocalist Raymond Angwin Dies After Illness
Raymond Mitchell Angwin, 30, a well known Butte singer and entertainer, collapsed from an illness feared to have lasted 18 months. He died shortly after being taken to his parents home at 1314 West Gold Street. Born in Cornwall, England, he came to Butte 21 years ago and later pursued stage work after clerking. He fell ill in St Louis while touring with a Fanchon Marco show and then relapsed yesterday. He is survived by his parents and two brothers Jack and Clifford Angwin.
