Prank H. Johnson a 22 year old miner was found guilty of robbery by a jury in criminal court. A three year sentence in the state penitentiary was recommended and will be imposed Saturday by Judge Jeremiah J. Lynch along with George Morey who was convicted of grand larceny earlier in the week. Johnson and a companion robbed Owl Cigar at 223 North Main street October 19 holding the clerk at gunpoint and escaping with 247 dollars. Connie Boyle the clerk captured Johnson after a several block chase with shots fired. The case followed Morey’s larceny conviction as the fall calendar moved forward in Silver Bow county.
