The error added 2000 pounds of payload weight, preventing orbital speed and deployment of solar panels and antennae. The satellite likely burned up over Africa or the Indian Ocean. Coroner probes shooting death of 11 year old in Deer Lodge
In Deer Lodge Powell County Coroner Clayton Jewell investigates the Sunday night shooting death of 11 year old Raymond Organ. Officials say it was accidental but provide few details. He died en route to Powell County Memorial Hospital from a abdomen wound. A large caliber rifle was used. He was born February 8 1959 in Clinton Iowa. He moved to Deer Lodge in 1961 with his parents and attended local schools. Survived by parents Mrs Zella Organ and Lester and four sisters and three brothers. Funeral services scheduled Wednesday at Beck Funeral Home 2 p.m. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
