Anaconda Co and unions meet on Clark Fork pollution issues

Talks between Anaconda Copper and the unions over the copper precipitation plant in Butte focus on alternatives to the plant and maintenance. The unions on strike since July 15 say operating the plant is a strike breaking action and would not provide personnel. A court-ordered restraining stay was lifted Monday, and talks continue with a new meeting scheduled.
