The Graf Zeppelin completed a 20,000 mile world loop in 21 days seven hours and 34 minutes, beating last year’s around the world record. Dr Hugo Eckener announced plans to stay in the U S about 12 days then return to Friedrichshafen by steamer and train. He visited President Hoover in Washington and will be formally welcomed in New York before departing to Akron.
