Hundreds of bikers and Vietnam veterans escorted a semi carrying The Wall That Heals through Butte to honor 58281 fallen service members. The three quarter scale replica will be placed at Father Sheehan Park and open to visitors 24 hours a day through Sunday morning. John Puis of Victor Montana rode with the procession and recalled serving at Cam Ranh Bay.

Montana Tech student becomes first Fulbright Scholar
Trevor Russell, a Materials Science and Engineering graduate student at Montana Tech, is the university’s first student Fulbright scholar. He will study ceramic composite processing in Lugano Switzerland, leaves Sept. 1, holds a Metallurgical and Materials Engineering bachelor’s and a Materials Science and Engineering master’s, and is pursuing a PhD.
