At the Grant-Kohrs Ranch near Deer Lodge Montana staff recount how horse drawn beaverslides and buck rakes once stacked hay before tractors. Dozens of staff show an all hands on deck demonstration, noting 700 to 1 000 pound loads lifted up the 30 foot beaverslide as draft horses and a teamster coordinate the work.
