John Gregovich 74, Dillon hotel and tavern operator, died after noon Saturday at Butte Community Memorial Hospital from chest injuries after a head on crash on U S Highway 91 near the Big Hole River. His son Mike was in the other car and also hurt. Gregovich, born in Yugoslavia, lived on Cherry Street in East Butte. he was a miner and active in local Catholic and Slovenian societies. Funeral set in Butte Tuesday. burial Holy Cross Cemetery.

A 13 year old Seattle Boy Scout was found alive after six days missing on Mount Rainier. Initial reports say he suffered a leg injury and exposure but survived the climb. He was located on a rocky ledge near the 4700 feet level of the 14410 foot peak.
