Train Crew in Fatal Boiler Blast at Xenia
An engineer and fireman were killed when a steam blast scalded them in the locomotive of the Pennsylvania’s St. Louisan. The pilots jumped or were hurled to death as the pilotless train thundered nearly three miles before stopping. Steam gushed from the engine as it derailed in Xenia Ohio.

Man admits wife killing with witness to gruesome proof

Helena cruiser to join fleet on West Coast
The light cruiser Helena named for Helena Montana will be launched in New York this Saturday and likely assigned to the U S fleet on the West Coast. The 10 000 ton ship will have a crew of 888 and be ready for duty about a year after launching. The christening at Brooklyn Navy Yard will be by Miss Elinor Gudger. The original Helena served in Cuban waters during the Spanish American War and later the Asiatic station before being struck in 1932.
