Crew of 20 Subdues New Timber Blazes in California Gulch
A forest fire in California gulch near the Big Hole side of the Mill creek divide was tackled by a 20 man crew led by Ranger John Marsh of Anaconda. The blaze started yesterday afternoon, grew large, but was under control by last night. Earlier, a small fire in Thompson park was doused by Curtis Bray and John Lloyd. Another three acre blaze near Echo lake, started Monday between the lake and the fish hatchery, was extinguished by Ranger L. L. Lake’s crew.
