New Arrivals at St James and Silver Bow Hospitals

In St James Community Hospital a son was born Wednesday to Mr. and Mrs. Larry Dixon of 1827 Howard. Silver Bow General reports a son for Mr. and Mrs. John Chatrand of 2537 Harvard. A marriage license was issued to John Franzen Johnson, 40, and Carol Ann Tannehill, 28.

William Knox of Dell Dies at 84

William D. Knox of Dell, a longtime rancher, died Wednesday in Barrett Memorial Hospital Dillon. Funeral set for 11 Saturday at Lima Community Church with burial in Lima Cemetery. he was 84, born November 2, 1892, in Dawn Missouri. He and son Carl ranch on Saga Creek and he belonged to the Montana Stock Growers Association and Dell Farm Bureau. Survivors include his wife Ethel, son Carl, daughters and siblings, plus 21 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Also notes a Dillon bowling league organizational meeting at Ned-Eva Lanes Monday at 7:30 to ready for September play.

Dillon Police Judge Fines Four for Traffic Offenses

Judge Walter Delaney fined Michael Crosser twenty dollars for driving without glasses and ten dollars for disobeying a stop sign. Theresa Landon paid twenty dollars for speeding. Michele Dansie forfeited a twenty dollar bond for allowing an unauthorized person to ride a motor bike.

Funeral notices for Tierney Stiffarm and Denofre in Butte

Funeral services for Thomas Frank Tierney will be held at 9 30 Thursday from the 101 S Idaho chapel with a Mass at 10 in St Patrick Church and burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. Ignatius G Stiffarm Sr funeral services will be in Hayes Montana Friday with interment at St Paul Mission Cemetery. Catherine B Denofre remains are at the 213 N Montana chapel with services Friday at 9 30 and Mass at 10 in St Ann Church followed by interment.
