Marines seize Viet Cong war college near Da Nang
More than 600 US Marines captured a Viet Cong war college on a 3000 foot Da Nang mountain and battled entrenched troops. About 44 Communists were reported killed as Marines uprooted a battalion earlier and found a 30 seat classroom complex with diplomas. MISSOULA UPI A young clean shaven man broke into a west side home and injured a widow and her daughter. Detective Lt. Dean Lockeridge said both woman in their 40s and the 17 year old daughter were hospitalized after the intruder attacked them.
