Three American servicemen held by Russians in northern Korea since August 12 were released unharmed and brought to Seoul for questioning. The men, T/5 Tommy F. Pugsley, Pfc. John D. Hopfe, and Pfc. Gerald G. Geffen, were handed to an American officer at 4:40 p.m. Seoul time at Yohyon Ni, near the 38th parallel, and a news conference was promised for Monday.

Ten people died when a crowded 1946 automobile collided with a train at a rail crossing south of Englewood Colorado Sunday night. The car carried a Kansas license plate and occupants appeared from Vesper Kansas.
