Grand jury begins Chowchilla work in Madera County

House backs move to strike tax cut talks with Senate

The House voted to enter conference with the Senate on a multibillion dollar tax revision and extension. Talks could begin after the Senate is ready, House leader said, with current cuts worth about 180 dollars yearly for a family of four earning 15 thousand. The 1,730 page Senate bill arrived in the House as an amended version of last December’s measure.
