Donald Wulf 31 of 2111 Oak Butte was killed when his 1957 station wagon struck a 3x3 pillar of an Interstate overpass on Harrison Avenue at 11:40 PM Monday. District noted it as the week’s second fatal crash in Silver Bow County and Montana’s 138th traffic death of 1960.

Helmville Native Alice Ellsworth Dies at 82 in Deer Lodge
Mrs. Alice Ellsworth of Helmville died in a Deer Lodge hospital after a nine month illness. Born December 24 1877 she was daughter of John and unknown Helms. She married Elmer Ellsworth in 1897 and lived in Deer Lodge since 1911. She served 25 years as matron at Montana State Prison retiring in 1956. Survived by daughter Charlotte in Albuquerque and several in Butte Deer Lodge and Portland relatives including Elmer Ellsworth of Portland nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Rosary Wednesday night and Requiem Mass Thursday at Immaculate Conception Church. Burial in Hillcrest Cemetery.
