Lewiston, Aug. 19. Walter Pipinich, 31, is held in the county jail on charges of robbing and assaulting Mrs. Dudley Powell at her home near here while her husband worked. Powell later appeared at the jail, a loaded revolver in his possession. Mrs. Powell said Pipinich bound her hands and attacked her before she freed herself and called officers. Sheriff Guy Tullock found Pipinich in bed at his father's home.

County cannot aid Front Street paving project
