Great Falls Man Dies After Wreck Near Lincoln
Harvey L. Bradford 42 of Great Falls died from brain injuries after his car rolled several times near Lincoln six miles east of old Montana Highway 20. Bradford also known as Ernest L. Johnston, a bricklayer for Halvorson Construction Co., resided at 409 5th Ave. His death raises Montana's 1959 traffic toll to 141.

Lake Elsinore Fire Toll Rises to Five
The Lake Elsinore blaze near Riverside California grew deadlier with three more firefighter fatalities bringing the toll to five. Victims were Boyd M Edwards 18 Anaheim Nelson D Harlan 23 Crown Point NM and Steven W Johnson 18 Huntington Beach. The blaze started August 8 after a pickup truck crash sparked a wildfire that burned about 1600 acres and injured at least 50.

Three Forks Hit By Rock Slide From Earthquake
A rock slide six miles west of Three Forks on U S 10S followed a statewide earthquake felt about 11 40 Monday night. Mrs Max Makoff of the Three Forks Hotel reported the temblor aroused the entire community but caused no apparent damage while her husband, a Gallatin County deputy, checked for harm.
