Butte Women Beaten in Household Attack in Serious Condition
Mrs Gladys Reardon 59 and her daughter Frankie Louise 25 of 2555 Harrison Ave were severely beaten in a bedroom at their home early Wednesday. Both women suffered facial head and body injuries with shock and were hospitalized in serious condition. Police investigated a possible related motel incident and a wandering suspect, while the attacker remains at large. Frankie, operator of Frankie’s School of Dance, pleaded with the burglar as he fled. Continued on page 2.

Montana Fruit Harvest Shrinks Under Blight and Cold
