Buck 38 carnival worker after Buck assaulted the officer with a club and broke Allard’s left hand during a July 29 riot at Harrison avenue and Olympia street. Buck died of shock and hemorrhage from a gunshot wound. Cowan, held for assault, was discharged on disturbance charges and left the city after testifying.

It is capitalized at 750000 to transact mining claims and rights and milling smelting and power plants. Directors are James H Rowe A L Lind Agnes Corry Mc Donald Arthur V Mary A and C A Corry all of Butte.
Campers are urged to keep out of the Deer Lodge national forest areas until fire danger diminishes. James Templer, assistant supervisor, cited humidity readings as low as .10 to .12 at 6 p.m. and .18 to .19 noon, warning that fires and entrapment risks are high in the hot weather near Butte.
