SkyWest Eyes Resume Of Butte Salt Lake And Denver Flights
SkyWest Airlines seeks a federal Essential Air Service subsidy increase to more than 6.3 million annually to restore daily flights from Bert Mooney Airport in Butte to Salt Lake City and Denver. The proposal, the only one received, would run beyond 997 thousand current funding and add seven weekly Salt Lake round trips and six to Denver, with costs rising due to fuel wages and maintenance. The decision by the U S Department of Transportation was pending.
