Seven Die On Montana Highways In Latest Toll Rise
Reports list seven deaths on Montana highways, including four in a single wreck 18 miles southwest of Ulm. The toll climbs to 204 for the year, up from 164 a year ago. The latest victim is Mary Lindemulder, 21, of Columbus, killed in a one-car crash on U S 10 near Columbus.

State House vacancy open in Silver Bow County
Chairman Robert W. Sparks of the Board of County Commissioners said applications are welcome for the state house seat left vacant by Pat Williams resignation. Applications must be received at the county courthouse before 10 next Monday morning. The appointee will serve the unexpired portion of Williams term and must seek party nomination in next year's primary to run in the November election for the 1971 assembly. Williams resigned to become an aide to Congressman John Melcher.
