Missing Montana boy Arnie Olson feared dead in Sapphire search
Sheriff F O Burrell said a family dog with four year old Arnie D Olson brightened hopes of survival in the Sapphire mountains near Hamilton after the boy vanished from a Bitter Root valley camp Monday night. Over 300 persons joined the hunt as deputies and forest rangers directed the search amid rugged, timbered terrain near Skalkaho summit with bears and mountain lions in the area. The Olson family reported the disappearance and the search continued into darkness despite exhaustion among volunteers.
