Anaconda Woman 97 Dies After Long Montana Life
Louisa Clara Suppit 97 of 407 Jackson Anaconda died Friday in a local hospital. Born April 12 1866 in New Ulm Minnesota she lived in Montana as a cook at Twin Bridges state children's home and later ran a boarding house in Philipsburg. Survived by son Oren Welch Priest River Idaho and a granddaughter. Funeral later at Fischer Funeral Chapel with services at 3 30 p m burial in Philipsburg Cemetery.

Tax Defendant Gets Probation
Fred E. Lively a 62 year old Great Falls insurance salesman pleaded guilty in U S District Court to one tax charge for 1957 to 1961. Judge W D Murray dismissed four counts and gave one year in prison but suspended the term noting the defendant’s charitable record and leniency.
