Dog hidden in Helena mail box shocks postal workers
Mrs. Joe Lucas of Helena found her dog after it barked from a mail deposit box. Post Office workers unlocked the box and retrieved the small animal. Ray Anderson of the Post Office called it a surprising incident never seen before and suggested a dog may have been placed through the package slot.

Drowning victim found in Blue Eagle spillwaters aftermath
Jeff Anderson 12 of Great Falls was found on mud flats below Rainbow Dam after drowning Saturday in the Black Eagle Dam spillwaters. He drifted about 30 miles downstream to Rainbow Dam, ending an all night search. He was the son of Mr and Mrs Jack Anderson. In Burley Idaho coroner’s jury ruled 93 year old Sarah Jones trampled and butted to death by a pet sheep, with blood matching her.
