One of two prison escapees was captured near Deer Lodge after walking from a Montana State Prison ranch about 3 p.m. Friday. Ben C. West, 41, was seized in the Deer Lodge railroad yards. Joe Williams, 28, remains at large and is described as 6 feet tall, 149 pounds, blue eyes, curly brown hair. Williams was jailed in Lewis and Clark County for grand larceny in 1956.
