Pfc Zimmerman Wounded in Saipan Battle
Pfc Robert W Zimmerman 20 son of Mr and Mrs H A Zimmerman of Butte Montana was wounded in action in the Saipan battle serving with the Second Marines. His July 14 hospital letter omits hospital location. He joined in January 1943 trained in San Diego and sailed for the south Pacific in June 1943.
