Police seek Bancroft Mitchell son of ex attorney general in the Sanborn slaying case. Henry F. Three small forest fires were reported in Deer Lodge National Forest on Sunday. all believed man caused. One three acre blaze at Sawmill Gulch near Elk Park was controlled soon after. Beaver Creek fire between Whitehall and Boulder prompted a six man crew. A third blaze near National Creek by Woodville was reported by aviator Bert Mooney and a crew was dispatched.

Henry Heimar, 28, of Klamath Falls Oregon, lost his right arm in a highway crash near Hayward California. Heimar rode with Axton Jones of Alameda. the arm was found on the road and a search for the projecting truck trailer began.
In Fort Smith Arkansas on August 6 26 year old Rev Willie Wilson of Van Buren drowned during his first baptism in the Arkansas river north of Lavaca. He stepped into deep water and was pulled into a whirlpool near Moore's Rock as nine others stood ready to be baptized and many spectators watched.

Five persons drowned when a fishing boat capsized after leaking 150 feet from the west shore of Jackson Lake. The dead include Mr and Mrs Ula Mallory of Denver their daughter Delores 4 Virgil R Brown of Denver and his daughter Barbara 2.
Four year old David Looff, sick with appendicitis, was rushed by seaplane from Alitak on Kodiak Island to Anchorage for emergency surgery. Pilot Blunt completed a 1000 mile round trip despite fog and rain, landing after a forced stop at Inska Bay. The boy, son of Henry Looff, was operat ed at an Anchorage hospital and recovering well with his mother and a physician aboard.
Dublin August 6 President De Valera called reports that Ireland faced civil war nonsense while acknowledging concern over the new national guard led by Owen O Duffy. The government may face embarrassment though a ban on the force seems unlikely.
Arizona voters will ballot Tuesday on national prohibition and to nominate a successor to Lewis W. Douglas who resigned as congressman to become director of the federal budget. Atlanta police say William R. Delenski confessed to abducting prominent banker John K. Ottley after arrival from San Antonio Texas where he was arrested. Chief T O Sturdivant announced the confession tonight. Ottley was seized in Atlanta and released unharmed after payment of ransom.
Reports from Fusan indicate 78 lives lost and 183 missing after a typhoon battered two southern Korean provinces last Thursday and Friday. Communications were disrupted, delaying casualty tallies.
John Chester Vaden 24, Yale swimming alumnus, and four youths set out from Milford Conn. to Greenport Long Island in a 32 foot sloop. A squall capsized the craft at 5 am after hours in the water. Edward Jay died. Vaden and three others were rescued after a long exposure.
