Hijacked Jet Crippled at El Paso as Fugitives Open Fire

Drowning Death of Former Butte Man Robert Peden
Robert Peden, 33, of Missoula and former Butte resident, drowned in a drain ditch near Fairfield. His body was found Friday noon by three Fairfield men after last seen around 10 p m Thursday. Coroner said he likely suffered a cramp while swimming. He had worked in banking and in the insurance business and was visiting his parents in Fairfield.
