Two Die in Dillon Area Highway Crashes
Two youths and an out of state man died in separate highway crashes near Dillon on Monday. Daniel Roberts, 17, died while being flown to Salt Lake City after a one car wreck near Polaris. An Idaho Falls man, whose name was withheld, died when his camper hit a semi truck on Interstate 15 eighty miles south of Dillon. Tim Tash, 17, remained hospitalized in Dillon after the Polaris crash while James Asbury of Idaho Falls was flown to a hospital there. The patrol noted uncertain seatbelt use and that the three youths were ejected from the vehicle. The Beaverhead County toll rose to 159 for the year. Danny Roberts’ Mass of Resurrection was set for Thursday at St. Rose Church.
