Robert W. Lundi of Butte was charged in Deer Lodge County district court with involuntary manslaughter in the July 30 1961 two car crash on U S 10A east of Anaconda that killed Hum Wing Quong a passenger in the Tom Wing Fey car Lundi was accused of operating under the influence and in the wrong lane a bench warrant was issued bond set at 5000 and state witnesses including Fey patrolman Leary and deputies testified at the filing Quong owner of the New China Cafe in Anaconda died after being taken to St Ann hospital. Fey and Lundi sustained injuries with Gardipee also treated for head and leg injuries

Parking Lot Construction Approved in Butte
Butte city council authorized off street parking lot work at Quartz and Alaska to begin immediately on the site of the old Murray Hospital. Thirty extended time meters will be installed at 57.50 each, with ground clearing costing about 3000 dollars. The city will take two thirds of meter revenue after debt service, the county one third. the county owns the land.
