Ohio Man Dies In Plane Crash Near Continental Divide

Thomas Le Roy Haley 31 of Columbus died when a Navion crashed near Prairie Reef in rugged mountains 30 miles northwest of Augusta Montana while en route to Tacoma Washington. Passenger Richard Knowles 27 survived after the plane lost engine power and tumbled into trees.

Johnson rebukes Republican leader over Viet Nam moves

Walkerville Boy Killed in Rifle Accident

Terrence Francis Cannon 16 of Walkerville was killed Sunday afternoon when a rifle in his arms discharged striking him below the neck. Coroner Andy Aleksich said the shot struck almost instantly. Cannon, a junior at Butte Central High School, was with a companion near north of Butte when the accident occurred.
