Butte handlers claimed first place in three of four divisions at a Treasure State Retriever Club trial in Three Forks, with Bitsy winning the puppy stake, Honker the derby, and Rip the open stake. The event drew 41 entries across all divisions.
Butte’s Roger Oren and Mike Foss led singles after the fourth weekend of the state bowling tourney in the Mining City. Oren opened with 230 233 and 165 for 628 actual, boosted to 654 with handicap. Parke of Butte tops the open division with a 674 series. The event wraps up this weekend with averages and standings across divisions.
