County Residents Eligible to Vote in July Primary
A total of 24 042 citizens in Silver Bow county are registered and qualified to cast a ballot in the primary election July 17. Any citizen over 21 years of age who has resided in the state for one year and the county for six months can qualify by registering at the recorder's office on or before June 1. Registrations have been heavy in recent days. Seven Democratic candidates have filed petitions for nominating various county offices. Filing closes at 5 p.m. on June 16. All county offices except district court judges and the clerk of the court are to be filled.

Sugar beet growers reach agreement to restart planting

Boy Fatally Wounded by Shotgun Near Anaconda
Charles Weist 16, student at St Pauls parochial school, was shot in Olson Gulch six miles west of Anaconda and died before aid arrived. He was with Garrett Ouldhouse and another boy named Collins when the gun discharged. He is survived by his mother Mrs. Mary Weist of 115 Maple Street.

Whisky With Egg In It Found In Chicken House
