Fire destroys Saltese Inn in Montana

Boy dies rescuing dog in Higgins Lake blaze
A 7-year-old boy Jeffrey Johnston died after breaking from his mother and entering his burning Higgins Lake home in a vain attempt to save his dog. Firefighters found his body beside the dog in a bedroom, the door locked behind him as the fire consumed the dwelling.
